About Meghan Haila 

Meghan is a former swimmer at Florida State University. She used to swim for the Bolles School Sharks. Meghan represented the FSU’S Seminoles

While she was studying at Creekside High School, Meghan was the winner of the Florida 3A State Championship in the 100-meter breaststroke. 

Meghan is said to be interested in Psychology, and she is also training to be a family and marriage therapist. 

She has also done her master's in Marriage and Family therapy with some additional courses for mental health counseling and therapy from the University of Florida

How did they meet?

Meghan Haila and Caeleb Dressel met in their teens while they were swimming for the Bolles School Shark. That is when they fell in love with each other. 

They both stayed in touch with each other after graduating from Bolles School Sharks, even if they went to different universities. 

They both started dating in 2013 and got engaged on November 30th, 2019

And they tied a knot with each other on valentine's day, which was supposed to be the day of celebration for many couples, in Florida.

Caeleb struggled to resist the junk food binges during a lockdown:

Caleb was facing a problem in avoiding boredom and resisting the junk food binges during the lockdown due to Covid-19. 

His game at Tokyo was on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, and during this time, Caleb started to adapt to life without not swimming regularly. 

He was coping with not seeing his family and friends physically so much. During this time, he joined an online craze of performing trick shots with his dog. 

Caeleb set two world records in one hour:

An American Swimmer broke the two world records in the international swimming competition held in Budapest, Hungary, in one hour. 

He broke his previous 100-meter butterfly record of 48.08 seconds by smashing it with 47.78 seconds

He is the only man to complete it under 48 seconds, and again 40 minutes later, he went to the pool again to break his own 50-meter freestyle record, and he broke it by 0.08 seconds from 20.24 seconds to 20:16 seconds.
