Mary's sister, Sally, the wedding was fixed on May 2, 2020, but she had started planning for the wedding one year before that. 

Unfortunately, it could not happen and was postponed to August 1, 2020, due to coronavirus pandemic. 

When the marriage schedule was nearer, the family had to go through another two heartbreaking news, which was hurricane warning near the wedding destination and sudden death of the priest who was going to perform the wedding ceremony.

The marriage was about to postpone again, but Peter did not let his sister be disappointed. 

He was so determined to make the wedding possible that he immediately booked an available place, the Brazillian Court Hotel in Palm Beach, and utilized his legit minister license, who could marry people, which he issued last year. 

Thus, sally became happily married after her brother officiated nuptials for her and her now-husband, Ali Sadri.

Pleasant life with no sign of divorce

The Doocy family has set an example of happy and cheerful family, who are living together under the shadow of love and support for each other.

Mary's parent, Steve and Kathy Gerrity share an unbreakable bond and has an epic love story, which began during the 1980s. 

Steve falls in love with Gerrity after seeing her on TV. She was a model and sports anchor then.

July 2018 was the special birthday for Mary's sister Sally. She got the opportunity to meet megastar Taylor Swift at Met life Stadium in New Jersey on her birthday.
