Martha Katherine Dick

Martha Katherine Dick is a celebrity mother. She gave birth to an award-winning actor and comedian, Tim Allen, who is best recognized for his iconic character Tim "The Toolman" Taylor, on ABC sitcom Home Improvement. 

Home improvement was Tim's first acting gig. Martha was a community-service worker.

Was married to a Real-estate agent 

Martha was married to real-estate agent Gerald M. Dick. From their beautiful union, they were blessed with six children. They were living in marital bliss until the death of her beloved husband.

Husband's death

Her spouse passed away in an accident in the year 1964 at the age of 55. He was driving home from the University of Colorado Football game when his car collided with a drunk driver. 

The drunk driver's car crossed two lanes of traffic, flipped, and landed on her husband's car. Tim was just 11 years old when his father died and has not got over it. 

Losing his father, whom he considered his role model used to teach young Tim that the world was not in anyone's control besides God. 

According to Tim, his dad was fond of cars, and that his love for cars was the only memory alive.

The couple parted their ways after more than fifteen years of marital bliss. After their divorce, Tim started dating superhero comedy Zoom actress Jane Hajduk. 

They dated for five years before tying a knot on 7th October 2006 in an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony in Grand Lake, Colorado. They welcomed their first daughter Elizabeth Allen Dick in 2009.

On the late-night talk show "The tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon," Tim confronted his mother wanted him to give a postal exam even after watching his acting on Home Improvement. 

She even gave him a choice between the army, civil service, and postal service because she thought that would take care of him. 

The first reaction after her son showed her the paycheck was hilarious. Instead of congratulating him, she said, "that's absurd."

The net worth of Martha is not revealed. Tim's journey from stand-up comedian to one of the aspiring actors is commendable.
