Israel's perspective on deciding right and wrong scenarios

In an interview, Israel shared that he was raised to always be objective and listen to what other people have to say.

He added basically, there are two things, i.e., watch and listen, and if you do those two basic things, you can pretty much figure out any case scenario that happens, and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist, you don’t have to have a college degree to know what is right and what is wrong.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow was recorded on the first take

In 1988, when Israel wanted to record the song “Somewhere in the Rainbow,” he called a local studio and said he needed to record something right there and then.

He made an emotional appeal to the engineer, saying that if he could come in as he had an idea.

Afterward, in a single take, he recorded the iconic version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.” In 2018, his song was shown in an animated movie, Moana

It had an animated version model of Israel where he was singing the song on a beach in a Hawaii cultural dress.

Israel had problems with transportation

Israel had a problem with the physical part of the body due to obesity.

He was carrying a weight of 757 pounds with a height of 1.8m (6 feet 2 inches), which made it difficult for him to stand and walk properly.

During walks, he used to carry a stick along for support. It was hard for him to travel far through airplane.

He had to sit in a forklift as he couldn’t walk up the stairs of the airplane.

The forklift would lift him outside the airplane door, and with the help of a stick, he used to get up from the place and get inside.

Even while having a seat inside the airplane, he used to cover the place of two to three people.
