Mark Waschke

Mark Waschke is a German-born actor famous for working in German films, theatre, and television.

Young Life

He was born in Wattenscheid, Germany. Mark was the middle child among his brothers. He has two brothers. 

Mark's father was a professional surgeon while his mother works as a nurse. 

When his father became the head of surgery at a hospital in Sulzbach, Saarland, his family moved to Friedrichsthal. 

They moved there around 1980. There he developed an interest in acting. 

Then Mark joined the local's children's theatre. Later the Actor joined an amateur theatre group.

In the year 1991, Mark Waschke moved to Berlin. 

He even spent some time there being Zivildienst, which is German denomination for the alternative civilian service for conscripted persons who are conscientious objectors to fulfill their national service. 

Then after that, he started studying philosophy, but soon, he realized that it was not his forte, so he drops up in the middle. 

Then from 1995 to 1999, Mark studied an acting course at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. 

He even worked as a regular staff member of the Berlin Theatre company from 1998 to 2008. 

Mark played the lead role in plays such as Shakespeare's Macbeth and Tennessee William's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
