Mark Griffiths is a businessman mainly recognized as an ex-partner of two times Emmy, two times Golden Globe and four times Screen Actors Guild Awards winning actress Gillian Anderson.

He never married Anderson 

Griffiths and Anderson started dating in 2006. 

At the time, Anderson had just split up with her documentarian and journalist turned biofuel entrepreneur husband Julian Ozanne after six months of marriage on Shella Island, off the coast of Kenya. 

But it was not her first marriage but second. Her first marriage to an X-files assistant director, Clyde Klotz, lasted three years. 

They were married in 1994 on a New Year's day in a Buddhist ceremony at the 17th hole of the golf course. 

Though Anderson and Griffiths's relationship was longer than Anderson's previous relationships, they never married. 

They called it quits after six years of a long-term relationship. Their separation was amicable.

He shares two boys with his ex-partner 

Griffiths shares two boys, Oscar and Felix Griffiths, with his ex-partner. Three months after Anderson's split from her second husband, Griffiths and Anderson announced they were expecting a baby. 

They welcomed their first-born Oscar in 2006. 

At the time of Oscar's birth, Anderson went into labor three weeks prematurely, and their son had to be kept in NICU, but they were lucky as they were able to take Oscar home after a week. 

Both Griffiths and Anderson tried their best to prepare their daughter Piper for her new life as a sister. 

Piper Maru Klotz is the first-born child of Anderson, whom she shares with her ex-husband Clyde Klotz.

Kids are banned from watching Anderson's series "Sex Education."

Anderson, in an interview, revealed she had banned her three kids, Piper, 26, Oscar, 14, and Felix, 12, from watching her series "Sex education." She said that she was happily living in denial that her kids did not watch the show and hoped they had not.

She had said to their kids they were not allowed to watch when the series first came out. 

At the same time, she also said not to have control over their doings at the friend's house and what their friends make them watch, but she had already shared certain aspects of the show and the importance of certain aspects of the show.

Anderson believes that her love life was never a failure

After splitting up with Griffiths, she gave an interview where she stated that her love life was never a failure and looked back at her love life with fondness without any regrets. 

According to her, she has had a very blessed life and admitted to not seeing the end of her relationship as a failure. 

She went on to say that the times she has spent with any of the partners were majoritively joyful and pleasant, and the beautiful kids with them are there to show for it.

Lives a very private life

Griffiths came into the limelight for his long-term relationship with Anderson but soon after their split, he started to live a very private life out of the spotlight. It is not known if he remarried or not.
