Marie was a divorcee with two young daughters, Lucy and Ashley when she met Jermaine.

Cole was a Manchester United fan growing up. He was playing for his local team NJ Wythenshawe when the scouts spotted him.
Manchester United was one of them interested in signing him up but ended up choosing Manchester City despite being a fan of United because they offered him better training facilities.
His grandfather Sterry said when he joined City, he used to wear a United shirt or some sort of United garment under his sky-blue shirt.
His idol growing up was Wayne Rooney. He said he used to watch all the football, and the one that sticks in his mind is Rooney.
Cole misses her cooking the most
Cole moved to Chelsea in the Summer of last year and has been living alone, trying to adjust to a new lifestyle and environment.
In an interview with The Times, he admitted to having difficulty because it is completely new, as he had never been outside of Manchester except for holidays or away fixtures.
He said he didn't know how to do most of the things because his mother used to do them for him even using the washing machine.
He also said that the hardest part is not having his mother around to cook for him. He misses her cooking.

Cole's immense popularity has reached every corner including St Kitts and Nevis, the place with which he is connected to.
Cole's paternal side of the family is from St Kitts and Nevis.
His grandfather made the journey to England via a week's voyage to Southampton to be with his parents, who had left five years before.
While speaking to the Telegraph, Cole's father said that he got to know from his dad's cousin that the Caribbean island is going crazy about Cole so when he does go himself he is probably going to need a police escort.
The reason Cole joined Chelsea
Cole joined Manchester City's academy at the age of eight. He made his senior debut for the club in 2020.
In September 2023, he joined Chelsea. In an interview with Sky Sports, he revealed the reason behind joining Chelsea and leaving his boyhood club.
According to him, he never wanted to leave his boyhood club permanently, and it was never his intention.
He was hoping to go on loan for a year and return and be ready for the first team, but the thing was, he was given the option either to stay or get sold.
Then Chelsea rang, and he said he wanted to go.
