Marco Silva's real name is Marco Alexandre Saraiva da Silva. Professionally, he is a former footballer who played as a right-back and currently serves as the head coach of the Fulham club.

As a player, Marco had actively engaged in numerous Portuguese clubs too.

Marco’s football journey

As a youth player, Marco started playing for the Belenenses Lisbon. He made his debut professionally in the 1996/97 season.

Marco only played at Primeira Liga for one time. Then he decided to go to Campomaiorense on loan in 1999/2000.
