Louise Bonsall is the beautiful wife of former Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid, New Castle United, Stoke City, and England national team player Michael Owen.
Louise is an equestrian as well as a trainer for rehabilitated racehorses. She was born to her businessman father, John, and mother, Sue Bonsall.
She married her teenage sweetheart
It was in the year 1984 at Rector Drew primary school in Hawarden, North Wales, when she met Michael for the first time.
Later they ended up attending the same high school Hawarden High School and eventually started dating.
They had planned to exchange their wedding vows at their palatial home Lower Soughton Hall, but their plan did not work as they were bound by the rules.
As per rule, the building would be available for three years from the day it grants license for marriage opening their home to anyone who opts for marriage there.
Therefore, they ended up exchanging their wedding vows at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester, Cheshire.

Mother of four
Louise is the mother of her four children.
She gave birth to her first child, daughter Gemma Rose on the 1st of May, 2003, her second child, son James Michael on the 6th February of 2006, third child, daughter Emily May on the 29th of October, 2007 and fourth child, daughter Jessica on the 26th of February, 2010.
Her son James Michael was diagnosed with Stargardt disease, an inherited disorder of the retina.
For years, the couple did not reveal to avoid a big headline. Michael confessed to Times about his son being clinically blind lately.
Passionate about horse riding since an early age
Louise developed a passion for horse riding at a very young age. She was seven when she first started riding horses and started riding lessons with her brother Andrew.
Later, she started spending their weekend exercising her friends' horses at the riding school, from where her passion grew stronger.
She was 14 when her parents gifted her a Welsh cob horse named Rolo. Since the arrival of Rolo, she started spending most of her time with Rolo.

Met with several accidents in the course of riding a horse
Louise was just 15 when she met with her life’s serious riding accident. She was riding her horse when the horse threw her off on the pile of bricks that led her to break her femur.
She was hospitalized and was on traction for 13 weeks. She had to give up horse riding temporarily.
She was back to a horse riding course, but until she could finish the course, she was pregnant with her first child.
After the birth of her first child, her husband gifted Isobelle, a Belgian Warmblood, and soon she started schooling.
She met with her second accident after she lost her balance when her horse reared up.
Isobelle landed on top of her. At the time, she broke her back in two places and her hip and pelvis in five places. She was bedridden for three weeks at the hospital.
She is the patron of the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation centre
After the series of the accident, she felt how lucky she was to survive and thought of giving up training dressage horses.
She became the patron of The British Thoroughbred Rehabilitation center (BTRC) and started rehabilitating and retraining former racehorses.
BTRC is mainly focused on the welfare of the former racehorses through educating, retraining to ensure their valuable life after the end of their racing career.
An overview of her husband’s career journey
Michael had a stunning football career where he scored a total of 222 goals in 482 appearances for his former clubs and 40 goals in 89 appearances for England.
While at Liverpool, he won Ballon d’Or. He won the premier league title with Manchester United in 2011.
But at the same time, the journey was marked by several injuries in between that later worsened and forced him to the sideline, eventually leading him to retire in 2013.
Since his retirement, he is working as a sports pundit and commentator. Michael is also a racehorse owner and breeder.
