Lisa Windsor

Lisa Windsor is famous as a lovely mother of an American model, Devon Windsor. 

With her first appearance in November 2013 in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Devon has walked the runway in a total of six of the lingerie's brand's fashion shows to date and has countless runways for top designers brand like Chanel, Christian Dior, Emilio Pucci, etc.

Her profession

Lisa completed her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Rhode Island School. She worked as a graphic designer for 14 years in Boston and St. Louis. After she gave birth to her daughters, she left her job to raise her. 

She currently works as a professional photographer. She has her own company named Lisa Windsor Creative in St. Louis, Missouri, where she does watercolor paintings of private homes.

Supported her daughter throughout her career

Lisa has been a supportive mother and never wanted her daughter to get her hopes up. Devon started modeling at the age of fourteen. 

She was at the bar when the photographer who was shooting at the bar approached her. Lisa called the photographer after Devon got to high school. 

During the photoshoots, a woman helped her with the hair, makeup and styling offered for doing editorials for the magazines. 

After doing the editorials for the local magazines in St. Louis, Lisa took Devon to some local agencies and later ended up signing with West model. 

When Devon was 15, Lisa took her to Los Angeles, where Devon did test shoots and later signed with IMG models in New York.

Once she completed high school in 2012, she moved to Europe and started working with IMG Milan and IMG London. 

From 2013-2015, she walked in 132 shows along with editorials for Vogue Germany, Vogue Japan, Vogue Russia, and many more. Throughout her career journey, Lisa became her strength and a supporting figure. 

In a marital bliss

Lisa is happily married to her husband, Charles Windsor. They got married in 1987. Since then, they have been the rock for each other.  

They celebrate their anniversary in August. She is currently residing in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and their two Labradors.

Parents of two daughters

From their beautiful marriage, Charles and Lisa became the parents of their two beautiful daughters Alexandra and Devon. 

They raised their daughters in St. Louis, Missouri. Her oldest daughter Alexandra who goes by Alex, is currently in a relationship with Chuck Zavarella while her younger daughter is happily married.  

Devon described them as protective American Missouri parents and always made sure if she was ok. She is very close to both of them.

A romantic wedding proposal

Devon wedded her long-term boyfriend Johnny Barbara in 2019 after a romantic proposal in June 2018. He proposed on the Sandy Kay Island, where he had made seven huge letters "Marry Me" filled with roses. 

It was a complete surprise for Devon as she thought she was going for a shoot of catalog. Everything was planned with the help of his crew members. 

He worked with her agent to set up a fake job along with fake clients and fake calls. He didn't want her to suspect, so he gave his phone to his friend so that he would take it to a golf club and post a photo on Instagram. 

She was shocked when she saw the letters while flying overboard on the chartered seaplane. The wedding took place on the 16th of November 2019 on the island of Saint Barthelemy.

Soon-to-be grandma

Lisa is soon going to be a grandma. Devon is expecting her first child with her entrepreneur husband, Johnny Barbara. 

She took to Instagram to share the happy news with her followers, stating that she is grateful for the little angel in her belly and is excited for the new chapter in their lives. 

Lisa, too posted the picture congratulating her daughter and son-in-law.
