Liliana Conceicao

Liliana Conceicao is the beautiful wife of a Portuguese-born professional football manager and a former player, Sergio Conceicao. 

He is currently the manager of Porto. As a former player, he represented his country in a World Cup and a European Championship. 

He played for several clubs like Porto, Lazio, Parma, Inter Milan, etc., before retiring in 2012. He was appointed the manager for Porto in June 2017. 

Since his appointment, he has led the team to win the Primeira Liga and twice the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira so far.

Married at her teen

Liliana was just 11 years old when she first met her future husband, Sergio, who was 14 at the time. 

Since she met her soul mate pretty soon, she got married young. She was 17 when she got married to Sergio. They are inseparable since then.

She gave birth to her five boys through Cesarean sections

Both Liliana and Sergio dreamt of having a large family since Sergio came from the same background. 

She was 18 when she gave birth to her first boy Sergio (named after his father), in 1997. Her second boy Rodrigo was born in 2000, the third boy Moises in 2002, the fourth, Francisco, in 2004.

Her youngest boy, Joseph (Jose), was born lately. He is just five years old. All of her boys were born through Cesarean sections. 

Liliana and Sergio wished for a baby girl, but it is not that they are not happy with their five boys. They are extremely happy having them in their lives. 

According to Sergio, they would have tried for more if their sons were born naturally. Liliana’s last pregnancy was quite tough which needed close monitoring. 

Four of her five boys are footballers

Her four grown-up boys were born football lovers and inherited the football talent from their father. 

They grew up alongside playing football, competing with each other. Rodrigo and Francisco are currently playing for Fc Porto while Sergio plays for Academica as a right-back and Moises for club Rio Ave.  

Her fifth one is yet to decide whether he follows his father and brothers or not.

Sergio as a father and a spouse

Because of his commitment to football and his busy schedules, Sergio gets to spend less time with his wife and children, but he tries his best possible ways to be available for his family, giving up most of the things he loves. 

The family usually gets to spend enough time together during vacations. Sergio became a father at 21 but missed out on precious moments while his children were growing up. 

He confessed to never missing the opportunity to share moments with his kids whenever he was at home. As a spouse, he is very supportive and credits his wife for being a fantastic wife.

Her husband was hit by tragedies at an early age

Her husband had to go through a lot. He was just 16 when he was confronted with the first tragedy. 

His father succumbed to death after he met a dreadful motorcycle accident. When he was 18, his mother, confined to a wheelchair following her illness, sadly passed away. 

Having to lose parents at an early age was something painful and unbearable. All their lives, they worked hard to support their large family, which included Sergio and his seven brothers, and when the time was coming to pay them back, they were no more in the world. 

Further, he lost one of his brothers in a work accident. His parents taught him to have faith in the religion that became his part of life, passing it to his children.
