Leslie Hamilton Gearren is well known for being the sister of American actress Linda Hamilton. Leslie herself was an actress.

She is best known for her role in the movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". She was born on September 26, 1956, in Salisbury, Maryland, United States

She was also a nurse by profession, working in the hospital located at Mount Holly, New Jersey

The actress is no longer alive as she died at the age of 63 on August 22, 2020. It was reported that she died due to complications from COVID-19.

Linda never saw herself as an action hero until her latest Terminator Sequel: Dark Fate.

Linda fell in love with acting after seeing the 1977 film “Julia” starring Jane Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave

She said she loved the character Julia, played by Redgrave. She said some part of her was just like she wanted to do that.

While she was at Washington College, she was told by a professor that she would never make a living as an actor.

She said in an interview that she didn’t have to do much with the college’s theatre department seeing how everyone would fawn over the professor to get the parts. “That is just so not me,” she said.

Her going to community theatre while she was in college, which was not part of the college, might be why her professor said so, she added.

Linda thought she would be a Shakespearean actress because she studied at Strasbourg Theatre in New York and loved the stage.

According to her, she was young and shy, which might become hard for her to imagine because it took her years to outgrow it. Her agents kept telling her that she would not make it on stage because she was too quiet and shy and belonged to the screen.

They made her go to L.A. after training in New York. But with Terminator, it all took a left turn.

She never thought at once that she would become an action-adventure star after doing Terminator

She fought some depression and kept dreaming about Terminator after she finished it, she said.

Linda said she never saw herself as an action hero but never felt like a badass until her recent movie Terminator: Dark Fate

She recalled the moment after her first sequel Judgement Day when everybody thought she was not a badass. Still, she was so competent that she would be in a bar and on location in Virginia shooting pool, and she would hear someone whisper, “That can’t be Sarah Connor; she would shoot a pool a lot better than that.

People buy into the idea that she is a superior woman. She said she is not a Sarah Connor who can do everything brilliantly.

Linda further went on to say that she never gave herself a title. She doesn’t need to tell anyone that she is a badass. She knows who she is, and she is a hard worker.

The action in the Dark Fate was three times the amount: physicality, emotional, and mental demands. It was huge and complex, she said.
