Leena Al Ashqar

Leena Al Ashqar is famous as the wife of Gianni Infantino. By religion, she is of Lebanese heritage. Gianni real name is Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino. 

Professionally he serves as a Swiss-Italian football administrator and is currently serving as the president of FIFA. 

Originally, he belonged to Brig, Switzerland. 

When did the pair get married?

The pair tied the knot officially in the early 2000s. They are now the parents of four kids as well. 

Their names are Shania Serena Infantino, Dhalia Nora Infantino, Sabrina Infantino and Alessia Infantino. Her husband is said to be a family man.

Continuing the talk, he mentioned he felt Qatari, and he felt Arab, he felt like African, and also felt like gay, also adding that he thought he was disabled and felt like a migrant worker. 

He explained that he felt all these because of his personal story as he had a flashback. He shared that he is the son of migrant workers. 

He revealed how his parents were serving very hard and in the most difficult conditions, not here (Qatar) but in Switzerland. 

Gianni recalled back then when he was a kid saying that he knows how migrant workers are treated when they are in search of work and the scenario that happens with their passports. 

He told it feels sad that in the last few weeks, he has observed in some places an actual/real lesson on morals and also on double morals.

In Gianni’s view, Europe should apologize for the next 3000 years for what they have done and has been doing in the last 3000 years. 

Furthermore, he doesn’t have to defend Qatar but is defending football and injustice. 

He questioned, who for real care about these issues? And said, FIFA and football do, and even the World Cup does. He is also saying that Qatar does too. 

He claimed that the ongoing World Cup is going to be the best World Cup ever. He tells that after the ball begins rolling, it is what the people want. 

Gianni not only stopped here, but he reminded how the 1500 migrant workers were dead between 2011 and 2021 as, at that time, the eight glitzy stadiums were being made for the extravaganza that started today, he added. 

He said that there are hundreds of workers coming from developing countries in order to feed their families to survive. 

He tells that they perform it in a legal way, and he includes other people in Europe, and we close the borders.
