Lawrencia Palmer is famous as a celebrity sister. She is the little sister of Emmy-winning actress, writer, singer, and producer Keke Palmer.

Lawrencia graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2023.

She suffered a kidney failure

Lawrencia was 18 and at the end of her senior year at high school when she suffered complete kidney failure.

Throughout her struggle with her health, she kept herself motivated constantly reminding herself that it’s not permanent and that just because you are physically sick doesn’t mean you have to be mentally sick, she said in an interview.

Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” and Dalai Lama’s “ The Art of Happiness” and her longing to be a regular high school and get back to normal life helped her get through it.

To be in a vulnerable state and left in the dark when it came to health was one of her worst experiences.

But she finally made it through recovering from the illness and also made it to FAMU which she described as the two surreal moments of her life because she wasn’t even sure she would be there.

Lawrencia shares what it is like to be a celebrity sister

Lawrencia shared that she shares an extremely close bond with her celebrity sister who is also her mentor and instilled in her art of being unapologetically yourself.

No matter whose eyes are on you, your only obligation is to be yourself, she added. With that, she also shared what it’s like to be a celebrity sister.

According to her, knowing her as a sister of Keke, people did try to take advantage.

It was also a learning process for her to be able to decode between fake and real, she said.

Her eldest sister Loreal won the debut season of Claim to Fame

Keke is not only the sibling but she has two other siblings, an eldest sister Loreal and a twin brother Lawrence.

Her eldest sister Loreal Palmer won the debut season of Claim to Fame and took home the $100,000 prize money after competing with the two finalists Pepper L.C. and Logan Crosby who was identified as Dean Martin’s granddaughter and Jason Aldean’s cousin respectively.

After winning the show, she revealed that she was Keke Palmer’s older sister. She then went on to say that they are each other’s biggest fans.

She also revealed that Keke is the name actually given by her.

According to her, when she discovered that her parents were pregnant, she suggested the name Keke but her mother told her Keke is not the real name.

So they gave her the middle name Keyana so that they could call her Keke. That was how she got the name. Keke’s first name is Lauren.

Loreal in an interview said, she wishes to start her own production company and wishes to do indie horror movies as a student of creative writing with the prize money.

Her sister took her and her twin brother to the strip club

Her sister Keke while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about her new movie Alice revealed taking Lawrencia and Lawerence to the strip club in Vegas.

She said she felt like taking her siblings would be fun. Her brother Lawrence was with his girlfriend.

But then her brother and his girlfriend sort of started to give compatibility charts with the stripper which according to her was a little weird.

She said she has a good relationship with the strip clubs and the dancers.

She always had a good time before Hustlers (Keke played a role of a stripper in Hustlers) and after.

It becomes sort of girl party where they forget about dancing, she added.

In the same interview, she also said that her dad has a twin and also her mother has a twin, and twins expecting to have twins was not common to her though it’s hereditary.

Her parents gave birth to her elder sister and then her and decided for the twins to be twins where she was like why she couldn’t have been the twin which is something she hates them for, she added humorously.
