Lauren Lapkus

Lauren Lapkus is an American actress, comedian, voice actress, and impressionist is mostly known for her role in Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black as Susan Fischer. 

She graduated from DePaul University and then moved to New York City for a year before to Los Angeles, California to pursue her acting career. 

She is also known for her work on Jurassic World (2015) and Crashing (2013). 

She recently starred in The Unicorn that premiered at SXSW in 2017 and stars in two upcoming Netflix movies, Between Two Ferns and The Wrong Missy.

Her role in the Orange Is the New Black has also won her a SAG award. 

Along with that, she was also nominated for an Emmy for her role of Samantha Newman on Funny or Die’s The Earliest Show.

Married Life and Wedding

The actress tied the knot and got married to the actor and comedian Mike Castle on October 5, 2018, in a courthouse ceremony. 

The couple was thrilled that the whole day was exactly the way they had wanted it to be which is stress-free and romantic. 

“We kept everything super simple by getting married at the courthouse and having an intimate dinner party after with a truly breathtaking performance from our musician friend, Dan Mangan,” 

Lauren said. 

“I am thrilled to be married to my best friend,”
