Who are his parents?

Duah was born to Ghanaian parents. His father was in Germany and his mother was in England before they met in Ghana

Then his mother went back to England. He was born there and was there for two years.

His parents decided to move to Switzerland thinking of better opportunities. They moved for a reason, Duah said.

His former manager described him to be an interesting player

Duah played two seasons for St.Gallen from 2020 to 2022. In his 65 appearances, he scored 24 goals.

His manager at the time Peter Zeidler while talking about his performance described him as a very interesting player.

He also noted that there was still a lot of room for improvement.

He declined to represent Ghana on international level

Duah was eligible to play for Ghana, England, and Switzerland

But he declined the offer from the Ghana Football Association to get him into the Black Star squads.

Duah has represented Switzerland at U18, U19, and U20. He made his senior debut on the 4th of June, 2024 in a friendly against Estonia.

His outstanding goal for the national team just 11 days after his debut

Just 11 days after his senior international debut and in his only second appearance, Duah scored his first international goal just after 12 minutes providing an early lead in a 3-1 win over Hungary in their Group A clash at UEFA Euro 2024.

After becoming a Swiss hero in less than 60 minutes, Duah dedicated his goal to everyone who believed in him, especially his coach.

"Speaking to the media is something that players tend to regard as a bit of a chore but when you score a goal in just your second appearance and with your second-ever shot for your country with less than an hour of previous international time to your name, you savor every moment", Duah expressed in a post-match interview.

Similarly, his teammate Granit Xhaka described him as a great, charming, relaxed boy and said he convinced him and many other players.

He also said that Duah seems like a popular man despite his late entry to the Swiss squad.

He credits his family and his girlfriend for supporting him throughout his tough times
