Kristina Milkovic is known as the wife of Marin Cilic

Marin is a Croatian tennis player who has won 18 ATP Tour singles and a Grand Slam at the 2014 U.S. Open.

He has also won the Davis Cup with Croatia in 2018.

Marin and Kristina welcome their first child

The loving duo welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on 31 January 2020.

He was delivered at the 'Sisters of Charity Hospital' in Zagreb. The new parents named their son Baldo Cilic.

Cilic's Drug Case and Ban from the game

Kristina's husband, Cilic, pulled out before his second-round match at Wimbledon, claiming he has a left knee injury

However, a month later, it was revealed that he pulled out due to failing a drug test in Munich, allegedly for incaution use of glucose.

In September 2013, he received a nine-month ban due to testing positive for the banned drug 'Nikethamide.'

Cilic claimed that the banned substance was ingested via Coramine glucose tablets

He did not intend to enhance his performance

All the prize money and points, including the Munich tournament, were null and fortified, but later, he appealed against the ban, and his nine-month ban was reduced to four months.

His ranking, which was dropped to number 47, received an immediate boost due to the French Open, Queen's, and Wimbledon was restored.

Marin's knee Injury

Marin Cilic was pulled out of the Davis Cup Finals 2019, as he had to undergo minor interventions to improve his recurring knee injury

He revealed that he had been struggling with his knee injury for a year and a half.

After going through an ultrasound test, the doctors confirmed that surgery would not be required, but some minor actions and precautions must be taken to improve his medical disorder.
