Kristen Harabedian

Kristen Harabedian is a former gymnast mainly famous as a spouse of the Philadelphia Phillies Shortstop, Trea Turner. 

She was born to her parents, John and Donna Harabedian.

She was a gymnast for NC State

Harabedian was a gymnast for NC State. According to the US Sun, she was a four-time all-state gymnast at Hunterdon Central High School in New Jersey. 

She was honored with New Jersey Gymnast of the Year and was selected all-state for the fourth time. 

She then moved to NC State, where she represented Wolfpack's women's gymnastics team. 

While at college, she was named to the second team All-East Atlantic Gymnastics League for the uneven bars and floor and made it to the All-Academic twice.

Married her college sweetheart 

Harabedian married her college sweetheart, Trea Turner, whom she met while attending North Carolina State University in October 2011. 

The couple dated for years and got engaged in June 2017 before walking down the aisle in November 2018. 

It was a beautiful wedding ceremony that took place at Joseph's Catholic Church. 

According to Harabedian, the reason behind choosing Joseph's was that they felt the history of the church as it was more than 140 years old, plus the location of Capital Hill would help in adding a unique experience for their out-of-town guests. 

She said they didn't have a first look before the ceremony, and the one she will forever remember is the moment she saw Turner for the first time as she walked down the aisle with her father. 

As for their reception, they went to the National Museum of Women in the Arts because of its world-class stunning exhibitions and the three spacious floors. 

They celebrated the evening with an extravagant dinner, cocktails, and a five-tiered wedding cake. 

As for their wedding attire, Turner wore a customized blue tuxedo with a matching tie and a white rose buttonhole. 

The inside of the Tuxedo was printed with their engagement pictures while Harabedian wore a stunning pronovias gown in which she looked drop-dead gorgeous.

She is a mom

Harabedian is the mother of one but soon going to be a mother of two. She welcomed her son Beckham Dash Turner with her husband in 2021. 

Turner, during an interview, shared how he and Harabedian came up with the name of their son. 

He said both of them just liked the name Beckham and tried thinking of other names so that they could pick from those, but they couldn't think of any other name they liked. 

It was clear to them that Beckham was going to be his first name, but it came to choosing the middle name, they opted to go with Bench coach Tim Bogar's suggestion, who had previously suggested Turner name his son Dash asking him if he knows Dash from Incredibles. 

At the time, Turner was like Dash would not be his first name. So when they searched for the middle name, they thought Dash would be cool.

Harabedian is going to be a mom for the second time. The couple took their Instagram in March to share the big news. They wrote,

“Menace man is going to have a little brother to boss around.”

Her husband signed an 11-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies

Turner signed an 11-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies on a jaw-dropping $300 million deal back in December 2022. 

During the introductory press conference, he expressed his gratitude to Harabedian for her immense support every step of the way and labeled her a rockstar. 

He also stated the reason behind choosing Phillies despite getting more luring offers than Phillies. 

He stated that he and his wife did not put money on their priority. 

He and his wife wanted to weigh all options and try to take the process as seriously as possible because they see it as a partnership between whatever organization they are going to pick and look at it as all-in. 

He pictured himself in Phillies uniform, and she pictured living here and having family come and visit. 

They pictured playing with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, etc. A lot of things added up and pointed in this direction, he said.
