Kiran Chetry

Kiran Chetry,  a Nepali born, is an award-winning journalist, an anchor, and reporter who served years for CNN and Fox News Channel. 

The Nepalese-American Chetry, who is also a public speaker, is currently an editor-in-chief for News Company and a board member of 'Saris to Suits,' which helps in advancing women's empowerment, education, gender equality, and social justice. 

She was also honored with the Best Enterprise Reporting award and Making Our Mark (MOM) award.

Got hitched with her boyfriend

Kiran got hitched with her boyfriend Chris Knowles, whom she met at the set of WICU- TV during her work around 1996. 

Kiran shared a cute memory of her first meet with Chris, where she talks about how he ignored her at first, and she had to call him up to start a conversation. 

She made a call from her bathtub, which was quite hilarious. Things worked out, and they started seeing one another, turning into a love affair. 

After dating for several years, they finally turned their relationship into marriage in the year 2006.

Her husband is an American meteorologist who has more than 20 years of experience. He was a former weather forecaster at Fox News.
