Karina Grippaldi is the celebrity spouse of an Argentina-born professional football manager and a former player, Mauricio Pochettino. 

Mauricio joins PSG

Mauricio was sacked from his managerial post in 2019 after five years in charge of the premier league club Tottenham Hotspur. 

He was appointed as a new manager of French champion Paris–Saint Germain (PSG) on 2nd January 2021 until the summer of 2022 with an option of a further year. 

He replaced Thomas Tuchel after the termination of Tuchel’s contract. Mauricia is connected with PSG from his playing career. He played for the club as a central defender for two years.

The date was 14th April 1991. Karina was studying pharmacy at the City’s National University when she first met her future husband. 

She happened to be in the same nightclub called Arrow where her future-husband, Mauricio, was celebrating the victory of his score for Newell’s Old Boys. 

While they were dancing in the club, their eyes suddenly met, which created chemistry between them.

The couple is blessed with two sons, Sebastiano Pochettino and Maurizio Pochettino. Both of them are in the footsteps of their father. Her first son, Sebastiano, 25, was Tottenham’s first team sports scientist. 

He quit the team in 2019 after three years with the team. Her second son Maurizio,19, is playing as a winger for the Under 23s in Tottenham. 

He made his debut for the under-23s against VfL in early December. Despite the departure of his father, he decided to stay with the team.
