Lloyd Vernet “Beau” Bridges III is an America-based actor and director. 

He was born on 9th December 1941 in Los Angeles, California, United States of America, to the American actor Lloyd Bridges and Dorothy Dean Bridges. 

They have been in love since high school. Initially, the actor was named Lloyd Vernet Bridges III. 

His parents almost started calling him Beau after Ashley Wilkes’ son in the book “Gone with the Wind.”

He has two siblings: Jeff Bridges and Lucinda. He also had another brother Garnett who passed away in 1948. 

The reason for his death was sudden infant death syndrome.

Beau then tied the knot with Wendy Treece in 1984 and has three children with her: Dylan Llyod Bridges, who was born in 1984, Emily Beau Bridges, who was born in 1986 and Ezekiel Jeffery Bridges, who was born in 1993. 

The pair have six grandchildren altogether. They are Lola, Orson, Clark, Oliver, Parker, and Mack.

On 11th March 2023, Beau made it to his Instagram handle and posted a picture of his sixth grandchild. 

He welcomed the baby boy Mack to the world and shared that he was his sixth grandchild.

THE FUN ACTIVITIES THAT BEAU DOES WITH WENDY

In April 2014, during an interview with Queen Latifah, Beau brought along his wife Wendy, with whom he had just celebrated his 30th marriage anniversary. 

He shared that they were then empty nesters and were doing stuff that they had to give up on while taking care of their children. 

He disclosed that he and his wife and kids had started doing martial arts recently. 

He appreciated his wife’s martial arts skills and also shared some really fun incidents that happened back home.

A TRIBUTE TO FELLOW DIRECTOR

On 5th January 2023, Beau made it to his Instagram to post a condolence message for the director, producer, and writer Late Catherine Cyran. 

He wrote that he had much fun working with Catherine and getting to know her beautiful soul. 

The two had worked together in the Hallmark movie "Christmas Italiano." 

He remembered how she loved being a storyteller and praised her, saying that she was a fantastic one. 

Cyran passed away on 24th December 2022 in Vancouver, Canada, after losing her battle with cancer.
