Jeffrey Vandergrift is a radio DJ based in California’s Bat area who has gone missing for the past few days. He is the host of The JV show - Wild 94.9.
When was he last seen?
Vandergrift has gone missing since Thursday. He was last seen around 10 p.m. at his residence on the 200block of King Street and was in his black sweatpants.
In a statement released by Vandergrift’s radio station, his co-workers confirmed no trackable activity on his phone or charges on his credit cards bank account since he was reported missing to the San Francisco Department.
It also stated that they are working closely with the police department and his wife who is a dear friend and member of Wild 94.9.
The community held a vigil in front of the radio station where he works.
His last Instagram post was the same photo from his Twitter on August 20 in a red Wild 94.9 but the caption this time was edited.
His original caption was about expressing his gratitude to each and everyone who has been on the journey alongside him since 1994 on the occasion of National Radio day but in his edited recent post he wrote
“Thank you for a wonderful life filled with joy, laughs, pain, and struggle. It’s been a great journey. Your support & prayers meant the world.”
He disappeared from his radio career briefly
Vandegrift has been working with The JV show - Wild 94.9 since 1994.
During his career, he amassed thousands of loyal fans but he disappeared briefly in 2021 leaving the fans in concern.
He returned to the show in April 2022 and revealed he suffered from a severe case of Lyme disease.
