Jax Joseph Nilon

Jax Joseph Nilon is the son of Haitian-American actress and television personality Garcelle Beauvais. 

She is known for her role in the show The Jaime Foxx Show and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is the first black woman to join The Real Housewives.

Two unsuccessful marriages

Garcelle was married to a producer Daniel Saunders in 1991, but their marriage could not last long and ended with divorce in 2000. 

She soon found her love again and was married to Michael Nilon, a talent agent with Creative Artists Agency, in May 2001. But the second marriage was also a failure. They got divorced in 2010.

She thought her ex-husband, Michael, to be the real-husband until she found him cheating on her.

Garcelle thought her marriage with Michael Nilon was perfect and thought he was the real-husband until she found him cheating on another woman. 

He was having an affair for five years with a woman in Chicago, which she found out through the text message which wrote I Love You. When she asked him, he confronted he was having an affair for five years. 

It was publicly flashed after one of Mike’s co-workers leaked the message she had written to some of his co-workers at his work regarding his infidelity. 

After the email got leaked, she got embarrassed and, at the same time, devastated, due to which she had to attend different therapies and life coach. She didn’t want her kids to get affected by it.

Siblings

Jax has a twin brother Jaid Thomas Nilon. They were born in 2007 after their parent's years of struggles and dealt with infertility issues for over five years. 

As twins, the only day they dressed alike was when they returned home from the hospital and have never dressed alike since then. They celebrate their birthday with separate birthday cakes and separate cards. 

They also have an older-half brother Oliver Saunders from their mother’s first marriage. Oliver, who was born in 1991, is a rapper and song-writer.

Wedding during pandemic

His elder brother Oliver got married to his fiance Samantha at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas. 

They did not go for a lavish wedding due to the pandemic and announced to have a reception after the end of COVID. The couple is the parents of one-year-old son Oliver-Lucas Groves Saunders Jr.

Parents are on good terms and have been co-parenting 

Even after the divorce, his parents are on good terms. According to Garcelle, she had to forgive him since they are the parents of two adorable kids, and they have to co-parent. 

They chose to put their kids first and have been co-parenting him and his brother Jaid beautifully. They are putting effort and are doing the best they can for their children.

Garcelle briefly dated Michael Elliot

She briefly dated Michael Elliot, a screenwriter whom she first met 22 years ago while he was trying to be a screenwriter. 

According to the sources, they reconnected through a friend. They went public about their relationship in  December 2019 and were spotted in public events.

She shared on her Instagram that she was single after dating him for several years. She has not found her new love since then.

Garcelle loves Jamie Foxx so much?

Garcelle is seen sharing her words in her book, her friendship with Jamie Foxx, and many more. The conversation started with how Garcelle thought of publishing her book entitled, “Love Me as I am.” To which the lady stated that this kind of thing you never plan this big. 

She was just trying to tell her real story as she immigrated to the new place at the tender age of 7. 

Garcelle shares how she had never thought of her entering into this big industry Hollywood or the modeling field. 

She simply said that her mother brought them here to find a new opportunity, and Garcelle felt pressurized to accept that opportunity that was offered to her. 

She also said how people then didn’t talk about the topics like miscarriages, infertility, and so many others. 

She recalls hearing from celebrity people about having children in the 40s and 50s but never heard of people sharing their journey. 

Garcelle also mentioned her case and how she tried to have a baby for whole five years off and on. 

She shared how she almost died, went through five abortions, and had miscarriages. Other than that, she also mentioned Michael Jordan, to whom she said NO. 

She also explained how at that time, Garcelle was only 18 years old and told that she was from a strict family household and said they were led to move in with their man only after both of them got married. 

She also confronted not knowing who Michael was at that time. She shared her going to the shoot with Essence magazine, where they mentioned that she was going to be working with Michael Jordan. 

Garcelle said the way they told her about Michael at that time let her feel Michael was the most important. 

Garcelle said how her brother was totally surprised when she shared working with him. She also mentioned dating Will Smith back then and said she is friends with his ex-spouse till now. 

Lastly, when talking about Jamie Fox, Garcelle said she loves him so much as she clarified that if they had something before, they couldn’t be the friends they are now as Garcelle shared of seeing Jamie grow into this amazing dad and man. 

She mentioned how helpful and supportive he is till now. 

Also, she said that when it comes to him finding a new man for Garcelle, Jamie won’t do it as she shares that every time she lets Jamie meet the man Garcelle is dating, he goes like he didn’t like the man whom she is with.
