Jason Baker Tuttle is famous for being the father of an American novelist and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. Jason ran a San Francisco Investment firm until he got banned in the late 80s.

MacKenzie donated more than $4 billion in four months 

Philanthropist MacKenzie, the ex-spouse of Amazon and Blue Origin founder, Jeff Bezos, has donated more than $4 billion in four months to help the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

According to her, the money she donated mainly focused on the communities largely facing food insecurities, highly racial inequity areas, the high local poverty rate, and the area that has low access to philanthropic capital. 

She worked with a team of advisors to identify the area of needs.

A successful marriage 

Jason has been married to Holiday Robin Tuttle, mother of MacKenzie, for more than five decades. 

They are still together and enjoying their old days together as a perfect couple. They are currently residing in Palm Beach, Florida.

A grand 55th wedding ceremony celebration

Jason and his partner Holiday celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 2018, throwing a grand celebration party attended by more than 100 guests.

They possessed two homes in Tony Marion County, California, and a mansion in San Francisco's Pacific Height, which they had to sacrifice in the course of refunding client's amounts. 

They went through a financial struggle in between. His wife, who used to chair a fundraising group in San Francisco, managed a small clothing store in Palm Beach.

Biggest divorce settlement in the history 

MacKenzie received a whopping amount of $38 billion as a divorce settlement following her divorce with her husband, Jeff Bezos, the world's richest person. 

This is the biggest divorce settlement in history and made MacKenzie the fourth-richest woman. 

The couple was married in 1993 after three months of dating. They ended their relationship after 26 years of marriage with divorce, which was finalized in April 2019. 

They share four children, three sons and one daughter adopted from China. After their divorce, MacKenzie removed her surname from Bezos to Scott, her grandfather's surname.

The net worth of Jason is not revealed. They are currently residing in a three-bedroom community house with a golf course worth about $600,000.
