She was just 16 when she started dating Paul

Jasmine and Paul were together for seven years. She was just 16 when she started dating Paul, who at the time was 33. 

They were living together in Los Angeles, California, before his ultimate demise in November 2013. 

She had also taken up the role of step-mom to Paul's daughter Meadow Rain Walker, whom he shared with his one-time girlfriend, Rebecca Soteros. 

Meadow moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to live with her father after living 13 years with her mother.

Paul tragically passed away in a dreadful car accident that took place on the 30th of November, 2013. 

The accident not only claimed his life but also the life of his friend Roger Rodas. 

Paul and Roger were heading towards Walker's charity event that was organized to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. 

Roger, who was a former professional driver, was driving his red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner's report, Roger was driving his car at a speed exceeding 100 miles around 3:30 pm Pacific Standard Time on Hercules Street in Valencia, a neighborhood in Santa Clarita, California, where the speed limit was 45 miles per hour. 

Roger lost control all of a sudden, and the car immediately spun around and hit the sidewalk on the right side of the street. 

The driver's side collided with a tree in a street light pole. 

The force of the collision caused the vehicle to spin again, and the next time, the passenger side struck the tree, and within a minute, the car burst into flames. 

The impact of the collision was so intense that both of them were knocked out. 

As per the report, Walker died due to the combination of thermal exposure and traumatic impact injuries, while Roger died from multiple physical drama. 

The investigation further revealed that there were no traces of drugs or alcohol in the body of either individual.

She needed therapy to heal from the grief 

After the tragic death of her long-time love, Paul Walker, Jasmine was so devastated that she needed therapy to heal from the grief. 

During an interview with Mail Online back in 2014, Jasmine's father, Casey Gosnell, revealed that then-23-year-old Jasmine was taking therapy to mend her broken heart. 

"I have her in grief counseling. She is trying to deal with her loss. It's been very hard for her. But she has her family, and we are trying to help and support her as much as we can", he told Mail online at the time. 

Jasmine went to her family's home in Goleta to be with her close ones during a hard time.

Paul had gotten the lead part in Fast & Furious in a strange way

Paul, who was famous for his role as Brian O'Conner, had strangely gotten his part in the Franchise. 

During an interview back in 2001, he revealed how he got the lead part in the superhit franchise. 

According to Paul, he was working on the 2000 thriller film "Skulls" with the same team members, Rob Cohen and Neal H. Moritz, director and producer of Fast & Furious. 

Neal, the producer of Skulls, approached him if he wanted to work in the next film. 

Three months later, he went up to him with the idea of drag racing, telling him that he needed to play an undercover cop. 

Paul said he got the role strangely as he was presented with the idea, and that was all at the time. 

They got it from the newspaper article and even didn't have a screenplay but the premise. 

They only knew what it was going to be about, but nothing more than that. His mind was telling no, but his heart told him to go for the role, he said at the time.
