Janet Marylyn Frager

Janet Marylyn Frager is the mother of American actor and filmmaker Tom Hanks. He is best known for his comedic and dramatic roles. 

Married to a Cook

Janet Marylyn Frager was a hospital worker, and she fell in love with cook Amos Mefford Hanks, and later they tied the nuptial bond with each other. 

Their ethnicity was different; she was of Portuguese descent, whereas her husband was of English ancestry. The couple stayed together for only a few years and got divorced in 1960.

Her son was first wedded to American actress Samantha Lewes in 1978. The two went on to have two kids.

Then in 1981, the actor met actress Rita Wilson on the set of TV comedy Bosom Buddies.

He had also released his rap in 2011. The youngest one (Truman Theodore) in the family is now 25 years old.
