Janelle Kidman, a nursing instructor, is famous for being the mother of an award-winning Australian-born actress, singer, and producer, Nicole Kidman.

Janelle married an Australian Psychologist, Antony Kidman, in 1963. Since Antony came from a poor family background, she supported him in pursuing his Ph.D. in biochemistry.

The ultimate demise of Antony in 2014 left everyone devastated. He died of a heart attack at the age of 75 during his visit to his second daughter in Singapore.

Nicole, who had a strong bond with her father, was heartbroken by the news of her father’s death, which took years to heal completely.

Janelle is the mother of two beautiful daughters. Nicole, her eldest daughter, was born in 1967, and her second daughter, Antonia Kidman, was born in 1970. Antonia is a journalist and a TV presenter.

She, along with her ex-partner, Tom, bought a Darling Point Duplex at $4.2 million, adding the second half of the duplex for $4.75 million in 1998, which was later sold for $12 million. 

A two-story penthouse in Walsh Bay Piers was purchased for $4.65 million in 2006 before her marriage to country Rockstar Keith Urban. 

Her permanent house has been her Nashville’s seven-bedroom mansion with tennis court and pool in Northumberland, which she bought in 2008 for $US3.47 million before her Georgian Mansion, her Australian holiday home at Sutton Forest for $6.5 million. 

She bought a penthouse for $6 million in 2009 and later added a mega spread and gym for more than $7 million. The penthouse is a few kilometers away from her mother’s Greenwich home. 

The couple recently added one more airy apartment with three separate entrances at the  Tribeca neighborhood in Manhattan for a whopping amount of $3.5 million.
