James William Goodman

James William Goodman was born to parents, Len Goodman and Lesley.

Father 

His father Len was always into football since his childhood. 

When he was young, he injured his foot while playing football, and the bone broke. 

Doctors even said that his bones would never be going to heal well enough to be a football player soon. 

That's when he decided to become a ballroom dancer as his father also owns a ballroom dancing school.

Now Len Goodman is an English professor ballroom dancer, coach, and dance judge as well. 

Goodman has appeared in so many television dances programs. 

He has even become a head judge for a dance show called 'Strictly come dancing,' a program where different celebrities compete with each other for glitter trophy. 

Goodman also runs a ballroom dance school in Dartford, Kent.

Father And His Relationships

Before marrying his mother, Lesley, his father was married to Cherry Kinston. 

Cherry and Len met each other in the dance program, and soon they clicked. 

They started talking to each other and started spending time. After some time, they were a couple. 

The couple got married on April 27, 1972. But the wedding was full of rush and exhausted. 

As before two weeks to the day of their wedding, Len's father was admitted to hospital due to a heart attack, and since all the bookings were made, the wedding could not get canceled. 

He has to manage all the things through the phone.

At last, they got married, and they were together for 15 years. 

But in 1987, the couple gets divorced with each other, and the reason of their divorce mentioned by him in his book that Cherry cheated on him with a multimillionaire businessman named Michael, who is a French man from Monte, Carlo. 

He was heartbroken at that time, but he chooses to move on in life.

Parents Love Story

Later he fell in love with Lesley, whom he met in a pub called 'The Fox and Hounds.' 

He always goes there whenever he was free in the evening. It was his go-to place after work. 

Lesley was from the Isle of Wight. 

When they met that time, she was about to start her Nursing training to become Nurse. 

But when they decided to live together, she dropped the idea of becoming a nurse and helped him in his dancing school as she was full of ideas. 

After a year of living together, Lesley found out that she was pregnant. 

Then she delivered a beautiful baby boy named 'James William Goodman'. 

All of them were so happy with the arrival of this baby boy in their lives. Their dancing school was also doing well. 

But as works increased, Len did not have much time to give to his family, and this thing started creating differences between them. 

One fine day Lesley decided to give up and end her marriage with Len Goodman. 

She went back to Isle of Wight with their twelve-year-old son.

Another Relationship

After getting separated from Lesley, his father got married to Sue Barrett on December 30, 2012, a dance teacher in a small ceremony. 

He met her at the golf Club. They both are delighted and living together currently.
