James Badgley

James Badgley is famous as a celebrity kid. 

He is the son of an American actor and musician Penn Badgley mainly notable for his role in the teen drama series "Gossip Girl" as Dan Humphrey and in the Netflix thriller series "You" as Joe Goldberg.

His mother, Domino Kirke, is a singer, doula, and actress.

During an interview back in 2018, she revealed that she didn't feel serious about her relationship with Penn initially because she was sort of getting used to being a single mom.

James was born after his mother suffered two miscarriages

His mother, Domino, had to suffer two miscarriages in a row before his birth. 

Domino announced her pregnancy via her Instagram account with a baby bump, also revealing that the couple went through two miscarriages in a row before the current pregnancy making them feel "ready to call it." 

She also expressed how she stopped trusting her body and started accepting that she was done. 

Adding to that, she wrote about being pregnant for the first time with her first son Cassius at the age of 25 when she knew nothing and dove in blissfully unaware of birth and its mysteries and that now, with the ten years of experiences, she treasures her birth community and the knowledge she has. 

She also expressed her gratitude to the unborn James, who was already teaching them how to stay in the day in a way they have never had to. 

James was a C-birth after three-day labor at home.

During an interview with Access, when asked about what it was like portraying Joe's "morbid" parenting after having his own, he explained saying that he was curious to know what his new fatherhood and how that would influence his experience with Joe and acting with him and sometimes it was not helpful because he had a light and joyful experience which still he is but Joe is so petrified.

Joe is just so morbid in his obsessive, sort of like self-preservation, primal instincts that sometimes he almost found it harder, as a result, he said.
