His sarcastic reply to Algerian boss Djamel Belmadi after his comments over World Cup Qualifiers
The Algerian national team could not qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after the 1-0 defeat by Cameroon in the qualifying play-offs for the World Cup.
Even months after the defeat, the national team boss’s statement said it all that he was still unwilling to accept the defeat.
He said the Algerian selection is better than all the African nations qualified for the World Cup.
He added five teams that have qualified for the World Cup, Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia, Ghana, Mali, and Morocco.
And that they have beat all those big teams. They beat Senegal twice, Cameroon once and a half, Tunisia twice, and Mali twice except Morocco, with whom they haven’t played yet, which according to him, is the fact that speaks for itself.
When asked about the comments at the press conference, Kadri replied in a sarcastic way, saying,
“May they always be the best! As long as we are qualified for the World Cup, I see no problem and have nothing to add.
