Jaimy and Denzel have been together since 2015. They first met in Rotterdam. Denzel, at the time, was playing for Sparta Rotterdam.

The couple is still together, living a blissful life but is yet to get married.

Jaimy is the mother of two beautiful kids, a son and a daughter, whom she shares with her partner. Their first child, son Jesiah, was born in September 2020.

Denzel was born in Rotterdam, South Holland, to an Aruban father and a Suriname mother. 

He grew up alongside his three siblings, with whom he is very close. He is the second child of his parent’s four children.

In an interview, Denzel said from the very beginning, he dreamt of becoming a professional footballer and was driven to make his dream a reality. 

Though he still does not know where the motivation came from, there was a hunger in him, and he did everything for it despite being mocked by his peers several times for his lack of skills at the time. 

He was rejected several times, claiming he was not good enough, but he did not give up. 

He moved for the first time out of his parent's home after he joined Heerenveen, where he learned to be independent. According to Denzel, he started late. 

He was 18 when he joined Sparta, but it was a strength for him because he arrived late and was hungry and motivated to show his qualities. 

For him, it was important to fight, which motivated him to succeed in his career.

Denzel played for three years for PSV and also became the captain of the club. He also became a Dutch national team player at the time. 

He was 17 when he played for Aruba national football team and scored but did not play official games because if he had played official games, he would not be able to switch to the Netherlands national team. 

He always aspired to play for the Netherlands. 

According to him, he had bigger goals and bigger dreams, but he knew from a young age that he would play for the Netherlands national team, which was his goal. 

Though people didn’t believe him, he believed in himself and kept focusing on his goal. He says he feels blessed that he is now playing for the national team. 

Denzel's performance was so impressive in the European Championship that Inter Milan wanted him to sign. 

When Denzel knew from his agent that Inter Milan was interested in him, he had an incredible feeling. He said he was very happy and very honored.

Denzel’s parents named him in honor of the American actor Denzel Washington. Denzel says he is a huge fan of Washington and loves his movies. 

During an interview, he said. Washington is a very inspiring person, and is happy that he is named after him.

Denzel’s hobby is listening to music. He likes to listen to music when he is in the car or at home. 

He says he likes Afro and dance music though he is not a good dancer. His favorite artist is Burna Boy.
