Jacqui Jeras's better half is a pilot graduate, Mike. It was during the college days when Jacqui and Mike first meet with each other. 

At that time, Mike was reading Aerospace Engineer, who is also a Young Alumnus Award Winner, and Jacqui had her bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication at Lowa State University. Since then, they were together.

After dating for some years, Jacqui has her wedding with college inamorato, Mike, in 1993.

Blissful married life beyond silver jubilee

Two inseparable love birds are living their blissful married life beyond silver jubilee at their Atlanta house. In 2018, the couple celebrated their 25th anniversary delightfully.

2013 was a terrible year for Aurora, the time when she goes through the surgery to save herself from breast cancer.  

The cancer is a hereditary problem for her family, which happens due to a lack of BRCA gene mutation. 

Her sister, mother, grandmother, and her aunt had already gone through this deadly disease.

She underwent a mastectomy, a breast surgery that removes women's breasts, twice and fully recovered with new silicone implants. 

Although she was not diagnosed with cancer, she decided to go through this surgery as there was a high risk of having her cancer.  At first, she has first mastectomy surgery. 

After one week of that, she underwent another surgery when the tumor was found on her tissue, which had a 15% chance of becoming cancerous. 

During this hard time, her husband supports her decision and stand beside her as a cherishing pillar.

Two wonderful children

The couple is blessed with two beautiful children. The first one is daughter, Aurora, who is named after Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis. 

The next one is a son, Ashton, who is an athlete and loves riding bikes. As per her website, he is the biggest fan of her mother.
