Her parents, Rodger Oscar Webb, worked as a manager for a catering contractor that served to Indian Railway, and her mother is late Dorothy Marie Webb.

Her father died in 1961. He was suffering from the illness for a long time before death. At that time, his age was just 56 years old. 

After some years, her mother got married to a man named Derek Bodkin. Their married life didn’t long last and ended with divorce. 

Afterward, her mother was staying with her youngest sister Joan, but in 1998 she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. 

She died on 16 October 2007 in residential care with natural death. She was 87 years old at the time of her death.
