Jack Gaffigan

Jack Gaffigan is the celebrity son of an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer named Jim Gaffigan.

How they met:

Jeannie first noticed Jim when performing a group sketch performance, and she liked his performance and thought he was really good. 

After some time, they ran into each other in a Korean market and started to talk. They slowly became close after that and started dating. 

They got married after dating for a while and have been together since then.

Jeannie's brain tumor:

Jeannie had a horrible experience as she suffered from a brain tumor. It all started from headaches, coughing, and dizziness, but she ignored all the symptoms as she assumed that it was all because of byproducts of life as a working mom of five children. 

She started to brush the symptoms and didn't go to the doctor. One day when she was at a pediatrician's appointment for her children and told the doctor there that she had some troubles hearing.

Then the doctor there sent her to an ear, nose, throat doctor where it was revealed in an MRI report that she had a tumor in her brain and it was very dangerous. 

The tumor was like a ticking bomb, which could anytime give Jeannie paralysis and cause serious damage and she had limited time to live with that tumor in her head. 

She had to go through a difficult surgery. She also suffered from pneumonia which played a very dangerous role. 

She faced difficulty breathing and swallowing food on her own, which led to not being able to eat or drink on her own. She went through the process and was successfully recovered.

Jeannie describes the process as difficult, but she also sees it in a positive way. She says that it showed her how precious life is and made her grateful to stay alive.
