Ineke Telder

Ineke Telder is the proud mother of Manchester United and the Netherlands national team defender Nathan Ake. Telder is Dutch.

Married life 

Telder was married to her husband Moise Ake, an immigrant who migrated from the Ivory Coast to the Netherlands for a better future. 

Her husband worked as a manager for the youth football academy VV Wilhelmus football academy while she worked for the same academy cooking food. 

From their marriage union, they gave birth to their two beloved sons, Cedric and Nathan, in Hague. As parents, they raised their sons well. 

Nathan, in an interview, said his brother is a copy of his mother while he is a copy of his father. 

His dad, according to him, is a little bit quieter as well, so he thinks he and his father are similar in that way. 

Nathan also talked about his father’s football influence on his career. 

He said his father loved football as well, and they were always playing football outside along with his elder brother. 

It’s sometimes difficult for his mom because three men in the house are always playing and watching football all the time. 

But she’s got into it now as well, he added.

She lost her husband minutes after their son’s first Championship goal

Telder lost her husband a year back in September. 

Her husband had been suffering from an illness for a long time and there was no further treatment possible. 

Telder, along with her other son, was there when her husband was in death bed while Nathan was playing his Championship League match against RB Leipzig. 

Nathan penned a heartfelt message on Instagram paying tribute to his late father, who passed just a few minutes after his first Championship goal. 

He wrote that the past few weeks had been the toughest of his life as his father had been seriously ill, and there was no treatment possible. 

After a difficult time when he scored his championship goal, and only a few minutes after, his father passed away with his mom and brother by his side. 

He further wrote watching him play always made him proud and happy and dedicated the goal to him. He wrote,

“You will be always in my heart and this was one for you,” 

Her son doesn’t drink 

Her son Nathan doesn’t drink and has never tasted, even when Didier Drogba once chased him with the bottle of Champagne. 

Nathan is often asked why. He just wants to ensure he has nothing to blame if something goes wrong. 

He just wants to focus on what he does on the pitch. Her late husband was also teetotal.

Who is her son married to?

Her younger son Nathan is married to his childhood sweethearts Kaylee Ramman. 

The couple married in June 2022 in a star-studded ceremony on the island of Majorca. 

The wedding was attended by celebrity guests, including Virgil van Dijk and Josh King.

The couple gave birth to their first child, a daughter, just days after Nathan was called to Louis van Gaal’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar. 

Nathan took his Instagram to announce the good news, saying their daughter was born during the weekend. 

In a combined post with his wife Kaylee Ramman, he wrote,

”The most special feeling in the world. We love you so much, baby girl”.
