Holly and her daughter were returning to the set of the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon back in January 2023 when they were t-boned by a driver under the influence. 

In one of her Instagram posts after the accident, she shared she had full-blown panic attacks and PTSD for weeks after the accident.

During an interview with the People, Revord recalled the moment when they were t-boned. 

“It was that metal on metal and then the airbags going out, all of it just together, that sound sticks with you,” she said. 

She also said that her “Yong Sheldon” co-stars were very supportive and received heart-warming wishes. 

Her reel-life twin brother, Iain Armitage, who plays the role of Sheldon Cooper, sent her flowers with a very sweet note in it. 

She said the flowers were beautiful and smelled amazing.

Revord, in an interview, described her relationship with him as being like that of a real-life brother and sister.

She also said that despite producers asking her to relax at home, she chose to return to the set after the crash, explaining that she would much rather be on set with those people she loves rather than stay at home in her room just playing it over a million times and not being able to do anything.
