It was her dream to open Madame Chocolat

Hasty dreamt about opening a Chocolate Boutique in Los Angeles. 

To fulfill her dream, she left for New York with Jacques to enroll in the Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts. 

She returned to Los Angeles after a year and wanted to open her boutique as soon as possible but invested nine months in find the perfect location and nine months to build and open her Boutique. 

Finally, in November 2006, she opened her Boutique. 

From being a mentor and mentee to husband and wife

Hasty and Jacques might have met somewhere in the 2000s. 

They have not revealed where and when they met, but Hasty, during an interview, revealed that they met because of chocolate and fell in love because of chocolate. 

Jacques was her mentor, boss, and chef during training. 

While they were studying together in New York, at the end of a year, Hasty was there; they had been dating for two to three months. 

Since Hasty wanted to open her boutique in Los Angeles, and Jacques wanted to pursue further education, she and Jacques had to be in a long-distance relationship for a while as they were on two different coasts. 

After she opened her chocolate boutique, Jacques often supported Hasty by working there. That is where he popped the question to Hasty. 

Hasty, while talking with Hitched Magazine, revealed how Jacques proposed to her. 

She said they were both working late in the factory, and he slipped the ring into a bowl of hot water. He then asked her to get a scraper out of the bowl. 

When she put her hand in the bowl, she realized the water was blazing hot and offered him a different scraper, but he kept on insisting on that particular scraper. 

She told him she couldn’t get it as the water was too hot, he put his hand in the water and his face turned bright red. 

He agreed with her, saying the water was really hot, but he pulled the ring out and said,

Will you really have me? Can you really be with me?

She was so shocked that she could not say a word for some time and eventually started crying. She was shaking and moving away from him. 

He then tried to put the ring on her ring finger, but the ring got stuck on her knuckle. 

Even though she was crying, she yelled, "Push Harder," which became a lifetime memory for the couple. 

They exchanged wedding vows in 2007 and have been living a blissful married life since then.

Children

From their marital bliss, they became parents of two beautiful children. They first welcomed a baby boy on August 19, 2016, and named him Pierre. 

Then, on April 5, 2019, they welcomed a baby girl and named her Jacqueline. Hasty often posts pictures of her adorable family of four on her social media.

The adorable family is seen celebrating different occasions like Halloween, Persian New Year, Thanksgiving, and many more. 

On National Daughters Day, Hasty posted a picture of her daughter with the caption,
