Hassan wasn’t a football player from the initial period. He had an interest in tennis before football. 

He used to play tennis at the primary school and in the neighborhood. 

His career in tennis took a turn when the coach of Al Sadd, Abdullah Al Shamlan, saw him playing tennis; the coach asked him why don’t try football and leave tennis. 

Hassan agreed with Abdullah and went with him to practice football. 

Nearly at ending stage of his football career

In an interview, Hassan said that it wasn’t an easy journey to continue football in his initial period of professional career. 

At that time, only six professional players were allowed to play in the club, and the coaching staff said that Hassan would never become a football player. 

The staff also suggested he go on loan or leave the club. 

These sentences made Hassan down, but the captain of the respective club Mohammed Al Ammari and Issa Al Ghanim supported Hassan by insisting he stay in the club. 

They said that he had the skill to play for the club and that in the upcoming days, he would be a big player. 

Will Hassan Al-Haydos appear in FIFA World Cup 2022?

Hassan plays for the Qatar national team, whereas the respective team is qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and is also the host of the World Cup. 

When the coach of the Qatar national team Felix Sanchez, disclosed the 26 men's squad of the respective team, Hassan was also included on the list. 

He will be the captain of the Qatar national team.
