Besides these stuff, he said that he also cooks “Yakiniku,” which is a Japanese-style barbeque, and he also cooks one of the rare foods that he finds in the United States, which is beef guts. 

It’s rare in the United States because nobody eats that dish normally. He said that cooking is his hobby, whereas he cooks just for himself and his friends. 

He could have been a baseball player instead of a wrestler

Shinsuke's father always wanted him to become a baseball player because his father was a great fan of baseball. 

Besides these, Shinsuke became a wrestler because of his grandmother.

In an interview, Shinsuke said that he used to watch new Japan wrestling with his grandmother every Friday night on TV. 

He said that his father used to invite him to watch baseball matches, but he used to escape from there and run towards his grandmom’s room and watch a wrestling show. 

He said his parents weren’t supporting him until he won the state championship and played for the national championship from the national high school game.

In an interview, Nakamura said that his idols were Japanese action movie star Hiroyuki Sanada and Sonny Chiba.
