He is proud to represent his parents’ homeland

Mejbri rejected France’s U18s and U19s call-ups to represent his parents’ homeland, although he previously made 12 appearances for France at U16 and three appearances at U17.

On his decision to represent Tunisia, he said his decision was the best decision for his family and that he was proud of his decision.

The reason behind his decision is his love for his parent's country, and also he loves it too.

According to him, he does not know Arabic well but is not scared because he believes the higher the bar, the more one can improve, which can only help him gain experience.

He further added that his parents are glad that he chose Tunisia over France, which indeed is present to them, and glad too.

He is trying to build something in the future, not purely on the sporting side.

How did he develop a passion for football?

Since his older brother was playing football, he followed him. He was always playing against older boys.

He used to watch the exercise and then later at home, he used to do the same with a small plastic balloon.

That was when he started to develop a passion for football.

He was seven years old when he was going downstairs with his brother in the neighborhood when he had in his mind that he wanted to be in a football club.

His family never let him get distracted by fame

According to Mejbri, his family has always been next to him and always told him he needed to work hard.

However, he was under the spotlight at a very young age reaching the final of every tournament and winning the best player award at almost all the tournaments.

He was just 12 or 13 years at the time. But his family was always telling him to work hard.

Though people were talking about him, he tried not to swell his head and continued to work.

He realized later that he took pleasure but worked hard

According to Mejbri, he was working hard, but rather than that, he took more pleasure in playing. He was having fun, and he didn’t see it as working.

He was always having fun. He took pleasure, and while taking pleasure, he worked hard, which he says he realized lately.

He said he enjoyed passing drills, so he didn’t see it as work. It’s only now that he realizes he actually worked.

He waited for a long time before he signed Manchester United

From Monaco to Manchester, he waited for a long time before he signed, and he stopped playing football for four months which Mejbri describes as the dark side of football.

Within a year of signing with AS Monaco in 2018, he became disillusioned by the club, with his parents claiming that Ligue 1 club had breached the contract agreements.

It was that time when he told himself that football was not just on a pitch.

During that period, he was at home training and training and doing everything not to sink.

He stopped football and was training. He credits his older brother for being there for him to train him.

Otherwise, he would have stopped. Everyone in the neighborhood was curious to know if he quit football.

So, it was a relief for him when he signed with Manchester United.

Is he dating anyone?
