Love Story With Wife Ginger

He met his wife, Ginger, for the first time in a computer class at the University of Alabama

Ginger did not have much interest in football, and he liked that.

In an interview, his wife said,

“He liked that I wasn’t into his business and he didn’t have to talk to me about football so we could just have normal conversations.”

How Love Story Started And Continued?

A few weeks later, after their first meet, Freddie asked her to go someplace with him but she denied.

The reason behind her denial was that she was the kind of person who would go where she wanted to go.

As a result, Freddie would have to go with her or they would meet later.

This went on for two years. At that time, Ginger had a boyfriend while Freddie was dating other people.

Despite dating other people, he liked Ginger and she was aware of that. Things got complicated between them and so Freddie told her that he could not talk to her anymore.

Crush Turning Into Love

Ginger had a thing for him, so she broke up with her boyfriend and soon started dating Freddie.

Her parents came to know about her new boyfriend when she got a call from Freddie and her mother received the call.

Since her parents were into football, they knew who Freddie Kitchens was.

One day when Alabama’s baseball team was playing in South Carolina, Ginger’s parents drove down to watch Freddie pitch.

Freddie took it as an opportunity, and after the game, he asked her father if he could marry his daughter. Her father granted permission for their marriage.

Married Life And Children

Freddie and Ginger got married in 2000 and later were blessed with two children, namely Bennett and Camden.
