Family caught in a fire

On 10 December 1990, his home at Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, was caught by fire.  

It was a nightmare for Vogel’s family. His youngest son Frank and his former wife Fran were there in the house that day. 

Frank and his mom were sleeping when black smoke filled their house. 

It was five o'clock in the morning. Frank screamed and ran to the room where his mother was sleeping. 

Both mother and son escaped after jumping from the window, and they met outside the home. 

All their things were destroyed in a fire. It was just a miracle that they both survived that accident. 

Their neighbors helped them a lot that time. Frank still remembered that day was the worst day of his and his family life.

Frank Vogel Jr. was not at the home because the couple had separated a few months earlier, and lived in another place.

Frank Vogel, the full name Frank Paul Vogel was born on 21 June 1973 in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. 

He began his coaching career with Boston Celtics in 2001

He came to prominence when he won his first NBA Championship with the Lakers in 2020

He has worked as head coach for the different teams to date. 

He married his longtime girlfriend Jennifer L. Sia in 2002
