Frances Beatrix Spade is the daughter of Kate Spade. She was born to Kate and Andy Spade. 

Frances keeps herself away from the media limelight and is not so active in social media. Nevertheless, she has starred in two movies.

Sadly, Frances’s mom Kate was found dead in her own home in Manhattan. The housekeeper there found Kate’s body at home on Tuesday morning, June 5, 2018. 

It’s been stated that she had committed s*icide by hanging herself in her personal space. 

After seeing Kate’s body, the housekeeper went downstairs to tell this news to building’s superintendent. 

Superintendent then went to her apartment, cut the scarf which was around Kate’s neck, and attempted CPR. 

The police also arrived and declared the incident a s*icide. 

However, Kate had left a note that described the theory of s*icide, which was found by the NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea. 

According to the police, her husband was at Kate’s apartment when she took her own life, and her daughter was in school. 

In the note, she also left wise advice for her daughter Frances. There, Kate tells the teenage daughter not to blame herself for her mom’s s*icide. 

Nevertheless, her husband Andy stated that he nor any members of the family saw the s*icide note but had been reading it via media accounts. 

The note includes the words, 

‘Bea – I have always loved you. This is not your fault. Ask daddy!’

Other than that, it’s said that Kate had been going through anxiety and depression. 

Moreover, Andy shared how his late wife suffered from mental illness during their two decades of marriage, but the situation became more intense six years before from her demise. 

He also said that she was seeking help and was engaged with doctors in order to cure her disease. 

Andy revealed that a night before, they had been in touch with the lady. 

Andy added that his wife sounded happy and there was no sign that she was about to take her life the next day.

Andy and Kate then established their fashion brand named ‘Kate Spade' brand organization in New York in 1993.
