He was born in a modest family in London. He studied in college with a scholarship in the Oxford University Dramatic Society, from where he came out as an actor.

Hugh was born to his parents, James Murray Grant and Finvola Susan. On September 9, 1960, he was born in Hammersmith hospital located in London, England

When he was a child, he played sports like rugby, soccer, and cricket. He was admitted to New College, Oxford on scholarship. 

He was also part of the Oxford University Dramatic Society, from where he got into an acting career.  

Hugh was arrested with sex worker Divine Brown: 

In 1995, when Hugh Grant was in a relationship with British Model and actor Elizabeth Hurley, he was arrested with a sex worker named Divine Brown for Lewd Conduct in his car. 

And after the incident, he said something that he did last night was a terrible thing. 

He has hurt people that he loves and also embarrassed them, and he is sorry for the things he did.  

Hugh took a break to focus on politics: 

Hugh was always a very reluctant actor; that is why for him, taking a break wasn't that hard of a thing. 

He was working up in the political campaign he told to Vanity Fair. And the political campaign that he was involved in was a group called Hacked off.  


Hugh is currently married to his girlfriend and wife named Anna Elisabet Eberstein, on May 25, 2018
