Tig was a name that came from her big brother when she was just two years old. 

He used to call her Tig as a nickname, and later on, she carried that nickname into her real name and now goes by that name.

Fighting cancer (tragedy):

Tig suffered from breast cancer in both breasts on July 30, 2012. She got a double mastectomy with no reconstructive surgery. 

She didn't go through chemotherapy but decided to get treatment with hormone-blocking. 

She once did a shirtless show to show her scars to the people and spread the message of how the force of her showmanship made people forget that they were there. 

She later went through surgery after facing problems from the cyst.
