One does not get over it despite what certain people or culture wants people to believe, and the second thing is that it is incredibly lonely. 

She says people who appear to be there with you after the loss takes place soon disappear and go on with their lives and expect you to be the same, which includes family as well, and in the rare case, less than a handful of people will remain with you after the first month or so. 

So she suggests people call and visit if they know someone who has lost a loved one, regardless of how long it's been.

According to her, she already battled with it and beat herself tirelessly, blaming herself every single day over her son's death, which is now hard enough for her to live with. 

And what is cruel and painful on top of everything is that people blame you too secretly or behind your back. 

She expressed that nothing takes away the pain, but finding support can sometimes help you feel less lonely.

Having lost the sweetest and the most incredible being, her son, who was almost like his grandfather, it is most challenging for her every single day to keep going on. 

Still, she keeps going for her three daughters because her late son made it clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them was at the forefront of his concerns and his mind.
