Emma Volkanovski

Emma Volkanovski is the wife of Australian martial arts professional and fighting champion Alexander Volkanovski. 

She was born to her parents, John Harris and Rose Harris, in Shellharbour City Council and grew up in Sydney. Her parents are farmers. 

She has two younger sisters, Carmela and Jessica Harris. They grew up together in a playful environment. She went to Cheltenham Girls High School. 

She is keenly interested in understanding the way humans perceive their day-to-day behavior, which made her study Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Sydney. 

She is also a fitness freak.

Her husband

Alexander was born in Shellharbour, New South Wales. His father was born in Beranci, which is currently North Macedonia, while his mother was born in Greece. 

He is known for his athletic passion and world-class skills. He is a former Australian Fighting Championship Featherweight champion. 

He is currently signed to the Ultimate fighting championship and has won the featherweight title. 

He is currently ranked second in UFC men's pound for pound ranking.

From high school lovelies to parents

Alexander and Emma are high school sweethearts. They met at Lake Illawarra High school. 

He began chatting with her on MSN messenger, and there was no turning back from then. The couple tied the wedding knot in 2015. 

They share a bond of utmost love and respect. They welcomed two beautiful children, Ariana, born in 2016 and Ariel, aged two. 

Apart from being the greatest sportsman, he is an ideal and loving husband.

Parenthood

In one of his interviews with Daily Mail Australia, he said, 

'At home, I'm just daddy being bossed around by my two little girls, you know, they don't care about a golden belt.' 

He always seems to take out time from his professional fighting routine to being a loving dad. We get to see a lot of family moments through their social media.

Career

Alexander was a skilled rugby player. He played for the Warilla Gorillas in the South Coast Rugby League and was awarded for being the league's best player. 

Despite several achievements, he decided to quit rugby when he was 23. He began training in MMA when he was 22. 

Since his debut in 2016, he has won twenty-three matches and lost only once. He is the current UFC featherweight champion. 

His upcoming fight is with Chan Sung Jung on April 9, 2022. 

Alexander has also launched a nutrition supplement named CMBT NUTRITION. He is the author of the book Alexander The Great.

The fights between Alexander and Max Holloway have been the closest battle in the history of UFC. Alexander has got two straight victories. 

Their global scorecard data shows neck-to-neck competition among these two beasts and gathered quite a lot of attention regarding judges favoring them.
