Emma Nesper

Emma Nesper is famous as a celebrity wife. 

She is the wife of American actor and comedian Anders Holm, best known as the co-creator, writer, and star of Workaholics, a hit American sitcom that ran for seven seasons. 

Nesper graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in Arts, Journalism, Mass Communication, and Cultural anthropology and a master's degree in Arts and African Studies with an emphasis in history from UCLA.

Nesper is a human rights advocate and resource mobilization consultant for non-profit organizations.

How did she meet her future husband?

Her husband, during an interview with Harper Bazaar, shared how they first met. 

According to him, he and Emma went to summer camp together when they were 12 years old, but they met at 16 at Evanston Township High School. 

Then they went to college together. He recalled stalking her after seeing her in white shorts while they were at cosmic bowling. 

He said after stalking her for a few months, he discovered she was a respectable, super-smart human with a giant brain and not just a pair of white shorts. 

They started dating while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Maddison. The couple got married in September 2011 and have been together since then.

Mother of three

Nesper shared three beautiful kids with her husband. They became parents for the first time in December 2014, welcoming their son. 

Her husband shared the great news on his Instagram with a cute video and hilariously captioned the video, "Lay me off.. I am starving.. for titties. 

Nesper and her husband keep their children out of the spotlight, so there is not much information about their kids. 

During the premiere of How To Be Single back in 2020, Anders addressed their then two-year-old baby. 

He said he no more wanted to be an ass after their first baby. “He is going to be a little ass, though. Like I can tell. 

But the little guy is “the man,” he added, explaining that he crawled in bed with them the other morning and just started singing, I like to move it, move it when they are trying to sleep a bit more. 

And he was like, “All right. They were dealing with the force of nature. He is going to be a cool young man someday”. Their youngest kid was born in 2022.

Her husband called her super dope

While appearing on Whitney Cummings's podcast, her husband gushed about her, calling her super dope. He said they did take time off. 

They were on and off while at high school and college, and also, people had been in their lives. But when they moved to L.A., they found one another. 

“Having to find someone who grew up where you grew up in this place, it’s not like super unique but something different. 

We have a shorthand about like values and things and acceptable behavior”, he said. “She is dope. She is cool”, he continued.

He also shared how she trusted him from the beginning when he started writing movies. 

According to him, she saw something in him that he saw in himself and kept him in check and kept him focused.

How did her husband end up making Workaholics?

Workaholics is a hit American sitcom co-created by Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, and Kyle Newacheck that ran on Comedy Central from the 6th of April 2011 to the 15th of March 2017 with a total of 86 episodes. 

But how did they meet and end up making it?

Anders moved to L.A., aspiring to become a movie writer. 

He was 23 at the time and went to a second city in L.A. after his buddies suggested him of doing improv as he was always clowning around. 

After taking two classes together with Adam DeVine, he asked him if he could write a show for him to star in. 

Then Adam recommended his buddies Blake and Kyle. He was like Kyle is a filmmaker, and Blake is very funny, and why not do something together? 

Then they started filming stuff and emailing their friends because, at the time, YouTube had not dropped yet. 

They were doing Live sketch shows, asking their friends to show up, and offering them a free beer. 

They did it for five years, and after YouTube came out, they were trying to go viral and get on the front of the comedy page.

Then, they got an email from someone from Comedy Central who had seen their office sketches. They asked them if they could pitch. 

They wanted them to turn the office stuff into a show. So, they wrote the pilot. 

Anders was the one writing background, and Adam and Kyle were the ones with the ideas. They got picked up after doing a thousand-dollar pilot. 

Then, they were asked to make an episode on television. 

They gave them the ten episodes, and right after the show, they were like, “We are picking you up for season 2. 

According to Anders, he got the s6 Volvo right after the ten episodes. 

At the time, his wife was out for the weekend, and when he went to take her, she asked if the show was hit because it hadn’t even aired. 

They had just picked them up and asked them to start writing season 2. Since it was a massive hit, it continued for seven seasons.
