His condition was very critical.
He was kept on a ventilator and being treated with dialysis and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
He went through multiple surgeries.
Due to complications that have arisen from the coronavirus, he had to have surgery to have his right leg amputated.
The operation was done on April 18, 2020.
He took his last breath on July 5, 2020, at Cedars-Sinai hospital, Los Angeles.
He was hospitalized for more than three months.
