Ella May Clapton is a celebrity child. She is the daughter of Veteran English rock and blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton. 

Eric is the son of Patricia Molly Clapton and Edward Walter Fryer.

Ella is born to parents Eric Clapton and Melia McEnery. Her mother, Melia is an American socialite and philanthropist.

 She has two sibling sisters named Sophie Belle Clapton (born February 2005) and Julie Rose Clapton (born June 2001). Ella is the middle child of her parents.

 She also has a half-sister named Ruth Clapton (born January 1985) who was born from her father's past relationship with Yvonne Kelly.

She also had a half-brother named Conor Clapton (born August 1986) who was born from her father's affair with Lory Del Santo.

But unfortunately, Conor died on March 20, 1991, at a very young age of 4. He fell out of an open bedroom window from the 53rd floor of a Manhattan apartment building.

Eric was so devasted by this news, and the song “Tears in Heaven” was inspired by this very tragic incident of his life.

Eric and Melia met for the first time when Melia was 22 and Eric was 53 years old. They met at a party in Columbus, Ohio which was organized by Armani in 1999.

Eric has a greater passion for Ferrari

The great artist Eric has confronted that since he was a child, he has had a passion for Ferrari. 

Eric elaborated, saying that when he was a boy, Eric was crazy about motor racing. Eric says that he had that rare collection which he has done since the age of five. 

He mentioned having different types of cars like Mercedes, Ferrari, etc. 

He also says that not many of the competitors but the cars were massive and fantastic with the V12 and V16 engines and claimed it as very raw. 

He also remembers if the car broke down, the driver used to push the car and point out that it was an incredible world. 

Eric also claims that he had that fantasy to be a racing driver then. And Eric, since then, had the Ferrari on top of his list. 

And also, as a kid, Eric chose Ferrari as his favorite, and till now too, his favorite is only the Ferrari. 

He says that some cars from the back time are back like Mercedes, but it also got lost somewhere in the middle, but only Ferrari was the one which had stayed number one all the way through, Eric added. 

When asked Eric if he still follows racing or still visits the racing track, to which he instantly replied, saying that he is still a great fan of Felipe Nasr. 

He also says that he truly likes Felipe and said they became friends and shared that they exchanged emails and messages more often. 

He says that he still is a fan of Felipe, or it might be because Felipe also drives Ferrari; Eric giggled and said. 

Continuing, Eric says that he supports Ferrari and he isn’t able to visit the ground often as he likes to visit, but sadly he has to also go to work and sometimes goes traveling. 

However, it doesn’t stop him from watching television. 

Also, the similarities between writing a great song and making a great car are that when he writes or when he plays or when he is doing a performance, or when he is making a record, Eric says that he has those standards in his head. 

He confessed that he was better than he used to be. However, there used to be impossible for Eric to leave things alone, claiming that he had that perfectionism problem in his head. 

And the artist thinks that the Ferrari also has the same thing, which he reflects as having the perfect detail on it.
